Professional Services (Standalone Workshops)
With nearly a decade of coaching experience and a deep commitment to neuro-affirming, trauma-informed practices, I deliver impactful standalone workshops to empower early childhood educators and professionals. These evidence-based sessions draw on my extensive background in leading inclusive, child-centred programs at Lake Albert Learning Centre and Compass Children's Consulting, ensuring alignment with the National Quality Framework and Australian childcare regulations.
"Neurodiversity in Action: Supporting Diverse Learners in Early Childhood Centres"
This workshop equips early childhood educators with evidence-based, neuro-affirming strategies to address common challenges in supporting neurodivergent children. Participants will learn practical tools to assess individual strengths, create tailored teaching plans, and implement differentiated instruction that aligns with Australian early childhood inclusion standards. The session tackles issues like sensory sensitivities, communication differences, and behavioural challenges, offering strategies to adapt environments and activities. It also emphasises effective collaboration with families to foster inclusive, supportive settings that promote the development and wellbeing of diverse learners.
"Leadership in Early Childhood: Fostering Inclusive Team Cultures"
This workshop equips early childhood leaders with practical strategies to build collaborative, inclusive team environments in early childhood centres. Participants will explore evidence-based approaches to coach educators, promote reflective practice, and address common challenges such as communication breakdowns and resistance to change. The session focuses on aligning team dynamics with a shared vision for inclusive, child-centred goals, ensuring compliance with Australian early childhood standards. Leaders will gain tools to foster a positive, supportive culture that empowers educators to meet the needs of diverse learners.
“Flipping the Lid: Responding with Connection, Not Correction”
Drawing on my extensive experience as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist and my commitment to trauma-informed, neuro-affirming practices, this 2-hour workshop equips educators with practical strategies to support dysregulated children. Based on Bruce Perry’s 3 R’s (Regulate, Relate, Reason), participants learn to foster emotional safety through co-regulation, using techniques like guided breathing, nonverbal attunement, and reflective problem-solving. Aligned with the National Quality Framework, this session empowers childcare professionals to build resilience and create inclusive, nurturing environments for young learners.
